Silicone rubber masking caps are reusable up to 280 deg C and are specially formulated to withstand temperatures in excess of 300 deg C
Application
High temperature silicone caps and silicone mouldings are ideal for masking plain and threaded studs during painting, powder coating, e coating, enamelling, anodising, electroplating and other metal finishing applications and are now widely used in the automotive and aerospace industries.
As well as being able to withstand high temperatures the flexibility of silicone end caps also allows them to conform to irregular shapes and they have an excellent sealing capability.
Silicone rubber masking caps are manufactured from the highest quality silicone compounds and fully cured, so there are no worries about silicone migration, bleeding or contamination of components, process plant or equipment.

Silicone Masking Caps are also available in EPDM Rubber (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) for lower temperature applications such as, Wet Spray Painting, Anodising, Chrome or Electro Plating.
