Silicone Pull Plugs

Silicone Pull plugs can be used for many high temperature masking applications.

We stock a large selection of silicone pull plugs in the most common sizes and with short lead times on non stock items we can usually offer a size to suit your application.

Application

Silicone parallel masking plugs or pull plugs are ideal for masking threaded & plain through holes and the pull tab enables easy removal .

The pull tab is easily pulled through the hole prior to powder coating, masking the internal thread or bore and is also used for easy removal.
Silicone pull plugs come in a variety of diameters and are suitable for masking in Powder Coating, E Coating, Wet Spray and other finishing applications which require high temperature cure cycles.
Silicone Pull Plugs are also commonly used for masking during chromic or sulphuric anodising.

Silicone pull plugs as with all of our other silicone masking products are reusable up to 280 deg C and will withstand temperatures in excess of 300 deg C.
