We can also supply masking products, plugs and caps in EPDM Rubber
(Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer)
They are resistant to most chemicals used in Electroplating and Metal Finishing processes and have an excellent sealing capability
Application
EPDM Rubber Masking Products are a cost effective masking solution for low to medium temperature cure cycles and are suitable for masking in Wet Spray Painting, E Coating, Sulphuric and Chromic Anodising, Chromium Plating, Shot Blasting, Bead Blasting and many other finishing applications which require lower temperatures than our silicone rubber masking products.
EPDM Rubber masking plugs and masking caps will withstand temperatures in excess of 180 deg C.
EPDM masking plugs can also be used as a disposable masking solution for Powder Coating processes and in some processes which require a lower cure cycle they can be reused a number of times.
EPDM Rubber Masking Products are available as tapered masking plugs, masking caps, flanged plugs, flanged caps, parallel or pull plugs and as a custom Moulding.
